In 2024, Mittys proudly supported the Great Northern Darwin Cup Carnival, supplying a coordinated range of custom racing products for presentations, trackside teams and event branding.

Hosted by the Darwin Turf Club in the tropical surrounds of Fannie Bay, the Carnival is one of Australia’s most distinctive thoroughbred racing celebrations. The 2024 program featured eight race days and concluded with the Great Northern Darwin Cup on Monday, 5 August.

The Darwin Turf Club describes the Darwin Cup as the Northern Territory’s biggest sporting event, attracting more than 20,000 attendees annually. Supporting an event of this scale gave Mittys the opportunity to demonstrate how custom racing products can bring presentation, practicality and sponsor visibility together across an entire carnival.

Mittys also supplied custom strapper jackets for a coordinated and professional trackside appearance. Made from durable, washable fabric with flexible elasticated sides, the jackets are designed for the practical demands of race-day teams.

Colours, sponsor logos, event branding and identifying numbers can all be incorporated into the permanent printed design, helping strappers, handlers and support personnel remain recognisable throughout a busy event.
