Celebrating the Close of the 2025 Spring Racing Carnival at Moonee Valley
…and just like that, the Spring Racing Carnival comes to a close for another year — but what an incredible season it has been.
This year, Mittys was proud to sponsor one of the final races held at the iconic Moonee Valley Racecourse, a track rich in history, atmosphere and unforgettable racing moments. Standing trackside as our branding illuminated the big screen and our custom saddle cloths hit the home straight was a true highlight for our team.

From the first barrier jump to the final presentation, the Spring Racing Carnival once again demonstrated why it remains one of Australia’s most beloved sporting traditions. Moonee Valley Racecourse — Did You Know?
Established in 1883, Moonee Valley Racecourse is the only major metropolitan racecourse in Australia still privately owned by a sporting club. It is famously home to the W.S. Cox Plate, often called “the weight-for-age championship of Australasia.” Its unique amphitheatre layout and electric night-racing atmosphere make it one of the most iconic venues in the world.

Moonee Valley is renowned for being Australia’s premier night racing venue, with the first official night meeting held in 1998. Since then, the Valley has become famous for its vibrant under-lights atmosphere, drawing crowds for high-intensity racing and spectacular finishes.
